Ex-officio Girl Board Member, Girl Scouts of Southwest TX (March 2023- Present)

  • Represented peer Girls Scout at board meetings on various topics of discussions by providing input to decisions made at board meetings

  • Alongside 27 adult Board members from various specializations, only 12 girls are selected from the entire council (346 troops-consisting of 9816 girls total) to be involved in council governance

  • Participated actively in developing the council’s financial planning, understanding the finance reports

  • Conducted community outreach catered towards increasing girls scout membership and retention of current scouts, addressing the issue of decreasing membership rates

  • Served as a role model and representative for the girl scouts in the council

National Delegate, Girl Scouts of Southwest TX (August 2022- Present)

  • Selected as one of 4 girl delegates to represent all of the girls in the council at the national level

  • Inquired in the council communities about girls’ opinions on the amendments and implemented a nuanced point of view into national governance discussions

  • Participated in intensive trainings and international discussions to prepare for the conference

  • The decisions taken at National Conference has impacted the entire Girls scout community of over 1 million girls 

  • Of almost 2 million members, I was one of 900 selected to attend the National Council session (NCS) and partake in confidential governmental decisions, including debates and voting on 8 critical amendments to the Girl Scout Constitution, affecting all girl scout members

  • Attended many webinars and international meetings learning the parliamentary procedures and gauging external perspectives on the amendments and candidates 

  • Understanding others views and acknowledging them and maintaining respect for delegates with contrasting perspectives on controversial amendments, such as one regarding discrimination

  • Practiced in and outside school, on and off court, maintaining my endurance for long matches and tournaments (2 years JV, 2 years varsity)

  • Built connections with my teammates and coaches

  • Played in various tournaments weekly during team and individual seasons

  • Contributed to team victories in all years of team membership- won the district championship 3 times, qualified for the area tournament 2 times

  • 2x area qualifier 

  • Managed time as I missed school often

  • Help the coach manage the team by serving as a communication liaison between team members and coaches

  • Increased athletic ability through regular cardio exercise/conditioning as well as muscle strength building

  • Implemented teamwork in doubles as well as supporting teammates 

  • Utilized the relations formed on court in the classroom, mentoring and guiding the younger players on and off court

Class Parliamentarian, HCHS Class of 2025 (August 2022- August 2023)
  • Elected for the role of an officer for my class, in which I served as the parliamentarian

  • Coordinated and recorded weekly class officer meetings 

  • Planned class events, such as sporting events and socials

  • Fundraised over $2000 for the class through student gift packages and concession stands

HOSA Secretary/Competitor, HOSA HCHS Chapter (August 2021- Present) 
  • Participated in HOSA meetings as an active member, completing service projects, such as teacher appreciation

  • Competed at the International Leadership Conference, placed in the top 10% of the state of TX

  • Placed 3rd in the state for Anatomage, advancing to the national Anatomage tournament, an interactive human anatomy knowledge competition

  • Communicated with and received mentorship from a board-certified dermatologist for HOSA Health Career Display Event 

  • Studied efficiently for a global health issues event

  • Learned efficient studying habits through preparation for a global health issues event, teamwork skills, and independence 

  • Interacted with new minds and shared knowledge at HOSA State and International Leadership Conferences

Project Worth Teen Ambassador (August 2024- Present)
  • Attended monthly meetings with fellow Teen Ambassadors to address teen health issues

  • Contributed to the City of San Antonio’s Teen Mental Health Survey

  • Participated in education workshops, team building activities, group volunteering, and community projects with ambassadors across San Antonio
